FIVE ITERATIONS
For Los Angeles-based art magazine X-Tra, Grant created a print and web-based Artist Project
based on her process of taking language from text through drawing, static sculpture and into kinetic
form. 5 ITERATIONS is a document of each stage of her investigation of text as image.  It includes
images created by her collaborators Michael Joyce and Greg Harrison, and a short movie
"MOTION" made with Greg Harrison and documenting "nimbus II" her kinetic sculpture featured at
MOCA in Los Angeles and Baltimore's Contemporary Museum.
