We are pleased to announce that Alexandra Grant is featured in Fluid Systems, a group exhibition at carlier | gebauer, Berlin, opening on the occasion of Berlin Art Week 2025. Grant’s work Drawing With Shadow (after Wisława Szymborska’s “Possibilities”), will be exhibited alongside works by Nadja Abt, Kerstin Brätsch, Diego Delas, Cecilia Edefalk, Joana Escoval, Esther Gatón, Kyungah Ham, Maryam Hoseini, Iman Issa, Bracha L. Ettinger, Jota Mombaça, Pakui Hardware, Diana Policarpo, Laure Prouvost, Arlette Quỳnh-Anh Trằn, Jessica Rankin, Leonor Serrano Rivas, Sequoia Rose Scavullo, Jenna Sutela, Suzanne Treister, Emily Wardill and Carrie Yamaoka.
“Fluid Systems explores fluidity as a site of metamorphosis: a continuous, ideologic process in which gender, identity, and social constructs dissolve into transient states of becoming. Engaging with the transcendence of fixed categories, Fluid Systems foregrounds phenomena that resist comprehension, gesturing toward the unknown as both subject and method. These layered experiences dissolve linear narratives, offering instead a choreography of fluidity, where ecological, cultural, and personal histories intertwine in complex, evolving constellations of meaning.”
