Grant’s neon piece Without Us Dreams Wouldn’t Exist (after Wisława Szymborska’s The Real World, 1993) will also be on view during the fair. This marks the second time the neon will be shown in Warsaw, after being exhibited in the artist’s first European museum solo exhibition, Alexandra Grant. Word. Image. Space, at the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature in 2024.

Bianka Rolando is an artist, poet and professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Her works have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, at the Kunsthalle Bratislava, Yuan Museum in Beijing, Contemporary Art Museum Estonia, Tallinn, CAC Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius. She exhibits in Poland and around the world and has a long-established connection with the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw. She is an author of nine books of poetry: Apse (2024), Abrash (2022), Inselbergs (2020), Stelle (2018), Pascha (2016), Wetlands (2015), Before the flames (2012), Larch Crowns (2010), White Book (2009), and An Italian Phrasebook (2007). Her artwork combines different types of media in the unique language of artistic expression. In parallel to her artistic work, she writes—not commentaries on art, but rather foundations for her artistic projects. The works present dreamy afterglows, scenes from dreams, or frame reality in such a way that it turns out to be vague in its unveilings. The visual language that defines errors in defining what is depicted precisely so that a liberating poem emerges. They are not proof of achieving some goals but rather testify to the mere passion for traveling and transformation.

Hotel Warszawa Art Fair is Poland’s first contemporary art fair held in a hotel. The event was created through a collaboration between gallerists Gunia Nowik (Gunia Nowik Gallery), Marta Kołakowska (LETO), Justyna Wesołowska, and Marika Zamojska (Polana Institute), together with the Likus Hotel and Restaurant Group. It aims to join the history of international art fairs held in hotels, such as the Gramercy International Art Fair at the Gramercy Hotel in New York and the Felix Art Fair at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.

Empower Art Foundation was founded by Eliza Łoś-Strychowska, a collector of women’s art, to support Polish women artists both in Poland and internationally. The foundation promotes, develops, and celebrates Polish culture and art by showcasing the achievements and current work of contemporary artists, supporting meaningful artistic initiatives, and nurturing young creators, both professional and amateur. It also focuses on educating the next generation, encouraging conscious art collecting and financial management, combining a passion for art with an investment approach. Additionally, the foundation is committed to protecting Poland’s natural and cultural heritage, highlighting the country’s landscape, environmental, and cultural values.
